Our Mission
· To empower individual or group on business start up ideas and skills, assist in business establishment and generate employment opportunities.
· To assist and counsel those engaged or intending to engage themselves in the development of a successful Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME)
· To provide professional development and solutions to Small and Medium Sized (SME) operators and their management team.

In order to achieve these goals SME Development Centre intends
· To respond to ever dynamic SME needs.
· To facilitate and enable Networking, information exchange and business promotion within Small and Medium sized enterprise in Nigeria and the sub-Saharan Africa.
· To provide effective business skills for SME managers and owners to enable them contribute towards running a successful SME.
· To establish and promote SME research in all aspects including financing, human resources development, information and communication technology, media and advert, marketing, operation and management; and publicize the findings through various media.


OUR PROGRAMMES

1. Business Start Up:
“How to Start Your Own Business”
“Raising Finance for Start Up”
This programme will provide support, advice, skills, and access to finance and networks for aspiring unemployed people who are 18 years and above. The programme will enable them start-up a business enterprise which will afford them a full/part time job. Participants receive Certificate of Enterprise Management.

COURSE DAYS AND TIME
This programme is scheduled for every Thursday; Time 9.00 am-9.00pm 2 hours per session and every Saturday & Sunday; Time 2:00 am-8.00pm; 2 hours per session.
The programme is FREE OF ANY CHARGE


2. Grow Your Business
“Steps for growing your Business”
“Raising finance for growth and expansion”
“Cheap and effective Marketing and Promotion Strategies”
“New Ideas and Methods to reach new customers/clients”

This programme is dedicated to those already engaged in a business. Participants will gain tailored training that will facilitate positioning their business for growth through access to finance locally and internationally, comprehensive coaching and mentoring programme.

Participants gain hands on practical experience to fastrack growth and expansion in business.
Participants will receive Certificate in Enterprise Management.
COURSE DAYS AND TIME:
This programnme is scheduled for every Wednesday; Time 9.00 am-9.00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12.00noon -8.00 pm
2 hours per session. FEE: N1, 500.00
